Annapolis Road Rescue
11 January 2010 - At approximately 1700 hours, while Engine 281 and other First Battalion units were occupied on another incident, Truck 28 was alerted for the motor vehicle collision with entrapment on the 1000-block of Annapolis Road. Chief 28 responded with the Truck for a total of 4 volunteers.
Truck 28 arrived on scene to find a multi-vehicle collision with one vehicle overturned off the roadway with one victim trapped.
As the crew from 28 stabilized the vehicle, other units arrived and began assessing the patient. Chief 28 forced the passenger side door, giving crews access to the patient from both sides. The patient was then removed from the vehicle and transported to Shock Trauma.
Meanwhile, other personnel transported a patient from a second vehicle to BWMC. The crew from 28 cleared the scene a short while later.
